Sports Clubs for Kids and Hoop Starz Basketball combine to create dynamic, effective training programs. This powerful partnership offers sports programming and recreational activities for all kids, from tots to teens.

Our programs foster physical development, self-esteem, and good sportsmanship. Players experience the fun of sports through effective training, competitive games, professional mentoring, and encouragement.

Danny Brown, Head Coach

Coach Brown has a solid record of leading teams to AAU success. Over the past five AAU seasons he has established the Gym Ratz as the premier local AAU Club, winning the national title in 2007. Since 2002 he's racked up State and Group-1/BCSL Olympic League championships. He was voted Bergen County "Coach of the Year" twice and Group-1/BCSL "Coach of the Year" twice as well.

Coach Brown and his staff earn their players' respect and then build self-esteem and confidence through skill development and interactive coaching.

NYSC Ramsey has teamed with Hoop Starz to offer a spectrum of basketball programs for all levels (ages 3 to adult).

Fall, Winter, and Spring programs run in eight-week sessions and classes are offered once per week.

Weekly summer camp programs for boys and girls in grades 3 through 9 are offered throughout the summer months, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
